Do anyone have a suggestion for the best and cheapest place to get Surefire products? I'm thinking about getting spare batteries, bulbs, weapon light, etc. I've searched and surprisingly haven't come up with anything.

I understand Surefre may have a policy against their dealers advertising really low prices.

Thanks.

Yeah, you're right. But, I was hoping to get a really good deal if I buy a bunch of things at one time.

You could try contacting Tamara - she works at Coal Creek Armory (Google them for the phone number, or PM her here on THR). They're SureFire stockists, and I'm sure she'd give you a good price on a package deal.

you wont find dirt cheap batteries. just buy the 12 pack for $19.99 like everyone else. its still better than paying $3 for the two-pack.

according to my source expect a rise in surefires prices across the board.

Sheesh. Surefire flashlights may be worth their weight in gold, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to pay that much to have one. (I did own an aluminum 9v Z Surefire a few years ago before the ex lost it at camp. Made before Surefire started stamping their name on the side and Combatlight on the other. Sigh.)

It may be worth your time to evaluate Streamlight products as an alternative.

there's a gent who goes by Brightflashlights on ar15.com. He has his own forum in the industry section. His prices tend to be very good, and he's a nice guy to boot.

I strongly second the above recommendation to try Calvin at brightflashlights.com. He's honest... and very knowledgeable.

I've purchased several Surefires and misc. accessories from him. He has about the lowest prices on the internet and ships fast.

Keep in mind that any brick-and-mortar store/gunshop that sells Surefires is "handcuffed" by their new, rigid (no discount) pricing policy. Brightflashlights, in my experience, usually sells Surefires for about 25% below retail. You might occasionally find a slightly better deal on e-bay, but that can also be iffy.

I urge you to do your homework before you e-mail or call Calvin/Brightflashlights (his number is on his special advertising section on the AR-15.com site) to first determine which Surefire model, parts, etc. you want/need. He's usually pretty busy -- his fame is spreading -- and I don't think he always has a lot of time to answer questions from new-to-real-flashlights tire-kickers.

There are a lot of decent flashlight manufacturers out there (Streamlight, Inova, etc.) but Surefire makes the very best. There's a reason while they're way backed up with U.S. military orders right now: their quality, design/features, durability, and no-questions-asked warrantee service.

Buy your CR123 lithium batteries in-bulk direct from Surefire (they ship slow), or from batterystation.com (the cheapest), or from BrightGuy.com.

Hope this helps.

Thanks again everyone. I placed my order with the ar15.com guy. I actually ended up speaking with Kevin (his business partner) and things went very well (so far). He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices were very excellent.

I was going to call Tamara but, I saw that the ar15.com guy carried Streamlight products too (which I also wanted) and Tamara's shop didn't (according to their website).

I would suggest getting the battries for the surefire lige directly from the surefire
web site... you know what your getting and they do seem to be the best priced I have found.
