I admit it. I'm a flashlight freak, but nothing of the level that you'd find on some of the dedicated forums because I haven't really got into the technical aspect of it yet (but I'm learning). Since I've been a kid, I've loved flashlights. That love exploded once I bought my first Surefire, a G2 which served me well for years.

Anyway, in the spring I bought a Surefire M2 Centurion and it came with the 60 and 120 lumen incandescent bulb. Because of the shock absorbing bezel, it never gave me the quality of light I was hoping for and left me somewhat disappointed. I recently switched to a P60L bulb hoping for a brighter light, and it works. However, I want more. Much more.

After snooping around on the web, I found the Malkoff M60L LED head and bought it. I'm hoping it arrives early next week. After all I've read up on it, this sounds like the cat's meow.

Anyone have experience with the Malkoff M60L, especially in an M2? It sounds like the best of all worlds - high lumen output with amazing run time, and it's made domestically by a guy who'll back his product.

Looking for any input or stories from anyone who has used Malkoff's products (even if it's the M60, etc.)

We were sent to a room next to batbcl11 battery the security desk in the same building. The staff there checked all laptops and batcl32l actually sealed all our laptop ports with a special sticker (each piece of sticker carries a sequence number). If we break any sticker, you know what will happen -reformat.

The Malkoff M60L came and I must say it is an amazing piece of work. Handmade with a brass heatsink, meticulously crafted, and excellent customer service all the way around.

As for the light itself, the throw is amazing for an LED (I can't imaging using the M60 which puts out 235 +/- lumens!) and the quality of the light has to be seen to be appreciated. The drop-in provides very nice spill and it has turned my M2 light into a very good contender for the darkest of conditions come winter.

If any of you are seeking to do upgrades to your Surefire, I strongly suggest you check out Eugene Malkoff's products. Domestically made quality products such as his will always have my support.
