I've seen a few black and green CZ-75s for sale. They have a black slide and a green frame. They also come with a CZ folding knife. Is there any difference other than the color? Was it a limited run? Anybody buy one of these? Thanks.

Yeah it's pretty much just a color difference along with the knife that's included. Personally i like the satin nickel finish the best.

AFAIK, the CZ75B Tactical is the same as the CZ75B except for the aforementioned color, folding knife, and rubber grips. I only held it briefly at the store, so I don't know for sure if there are other differences.

Its the "Tactical" model and the only difference is the color and knife. At first CZ maketed them with a PCR/Lowdrag style sight and didnt produce it that way........I was getting excited too.
I dont know what the number will be on the guns produced.........
Shoot well.....

I bought one simply because I like the color.

Differences:

colors:
Green polycoat frame
Darkened barrel - not sure what the coating is
Black trigger

other:
Lanyard attachment point - nice
Rubber grips - nice
cheesy Chinese knife - whah?

If the knife is decent and you don't mind the green, go for it. No difference in the gun. I have a satin nickel finish which I like but I have heard the polymer is quite durable. The ones I've seen look good.

The knife is made in china, but it opens really nice and looks cool, it IS a kershaw after all. The knife is about a $25.00 item without the cz logo, $32.00 with the logo from czusa......tom

I'm sure the knife is fine. Note that I described it as "cheesy" not "bad". :)

I'm sure it would be a fine beater, but I haven't used it myself yet.

I saw one of the OD 75s at the last gunshow and I got to hold it. I really liked it! I don't know if it was just the color or the rubber grips but I would consider buying one of them. The normal CZ-75 just doesn't do it for me for some reason.

Custom Green

Before this version appeared I zapped the slide of my duo tone with the green GunKote by K.G. Industries and love the result. The satin nickle frame and green slide is sharper looking than the green/black combo IMHO.

I had been wondering what the tac model would look like with a hard chrome or nickel slide. If you could post a pic that would be awesome. I too like the od green look, it is the kind of thing people either love or hate it seems. Anyway, I like mine.
The knife looks good in photos with cz guns:D .......tom

I read somewhere that the production run on the tactical model is going to be three thousand units.
If I could just remember where I read that...

I just bought one, od green, sweet!

I was looking around for a subcompact since I plan to get a ccw in early august during my vacation time, along with fixing my other broken car.

Went into shooters world, in glendale, az and saw this sweet looking cz 75b in od green. Felt it in my hand and wanted it; drove around to see if there were any others more competitively priced and went back and bought it used.

Paid $399.00 used but whoever sold it to the gunshop maintained it well since it is in flawless condition, had 2 10 round mags (damn you california!), the lock and all the original accessories including the knife. Sweet!

Hopefully, I didn't pay too much.

Trimmed the picture taken with my aiptek hd camcorder; need to go out and fire it tomorrow!

neat gun...

it also has the P01 style trigger too, which has a little more curve and sits the contact point a little further back.

My first reaction to the title on this thread was: "why not wait until it ripens". Then I was at a local gun show yesterday and there was one (less knife, case and paperwork) with only one magazine priced like it was a SIG P210. I thought it was nice, but not THAT nice. Kinda underwhelming. You have to get the entire package to appreciate it fully.

I'd love it if they made an identical package but with an OD 75 Compact, I want one to go with my PCR.

OD 75 compact

Od 75 compact, that would be sweet.
Funny, I went in to buy a subcompact; ended up with a full size: when I got it into my hand.

Then I wanted a new one since this one was used; although it looked new, with virtually no wear anywhere. Or very cleaned up for sale :)

Traveled to a lot of nearby and not nearby gun stores. Cabellas, Sportsmens, and then back to Shooters World in Glendale.

No one had one new or used! Didn't want to special order one either.

It shot fine when I took it out to the desert on Sunday. Pretty accurate, no deal breaker problems; think it needs to break in a bit more. Went through about 120 rounds of 9mm round nose, 115grain umc ammo.

Going to try, some 124grain winchester to see if the 3 failure to feeds (stuck in ramp/barrel and the slide failed to close/lock) disappear in case the gun just doesn't like the ammo. Found from my other gun that some guns are picky.

My .45 can't feed a round nose but eats whatever type of JHP! This costs me more money but better than me trying my own ramp job horror!

Here is a picture of everything that came with my CZ, got two 16 round mags coming in to add to my 2 10 rounders: Note, I temporarily misplaced the bore brush that came with the gun.

I don't carry/use Chinese knifes:) I'm glad I didn't miss anything by not purchasing one when the knife was included!
