I have a drop swivel holster for my revolvers. One of them does not have a trigger guard (Think main protagonist in 'The Walking Dead' or retro state trooper).

The leather thumb-snap retains the hammer so it would take a monumental amount of force to fire the gun from the trigger without breaking the thumb-snap.
Don't open carry any of my revolvers - but if I ever 'needed' to for whatever reason it would be nice to know the law wasn't against me.
Thanks
