I want to get a Spartan Double Rifle in 45-70 or maybe 30-06 and can't find any info. My dealer says they are out, but I haven't seen them and he can't find any out for sale. So are they out yet? Also, my browser won't let me get to the Spartan website, it just redirects me to the Remington website. Does any one else have this problem.

Or, you could contact CDNN and get one of EAA's doubles, which is the same as the Spartan (if it is over-under, that is) for $299 plus shipping.

Jerry's list them as not available. None of the other major distributors are showing them in stock either. I don't think they have made it into the country yet.

The Spartan guns are side by side rifles not over/unders. I guess they haven't come ashore yet, or at least that is what I was told yesterday.

Screw them. If you can find an importer, get one of these.

Cabela's sells the basic percussion version, but I don't know about these, which are centerfires, or the deluxe models of either.

That Kodiak in 9.3 x 74 R is a world class rifle if the barrels shoot together. The cartridge is basically a rimmed 375 H&H equivalent. I'd jump on it!

I have the Baikal O/U 308 Winchester. A nice handy woods rifle that handles like a shotgun.
