Any word on the EAA ez9?

I'm considering getting this gun

I've been reading reports of owners at cz99.org, and from what I gather they're very satisfied with their guns in terms of reliability and accuracy, and they're very satisfied with the service that they get from EAA corp.

For me, simplicity and reliability are my two biggest selling points, and this gun beats the Ruger P95 and the Taurus 800s and 24/7.

EZ 9

I have had one for quite a while. It looks somewhat like a Sig 226, but it is different. My EZ 9 is very good, Zastava has made guns over 100 years, Accuracy is excellent, trigger is excellent, has never malfuntioned, the pistol is manufactured using cnc machining, very good quality, it is as good as my sig, imho. This pistol is a good value, you will not be disappointed.I have rang the 100 yard gong on our rifle range. not bad

Agreed with the poster above, except that Sig's are without a doubt better. I have an EZ-9 Carry, and compared to my shooting buddy's 226, it is unrefined.

However, for the money, it's quite amazing. I paid $270 pre-tax for a NIB from Cabela's about 3 months ago, but that seemed to be a freak deal. For a home defense gun, I'd say stay away from the carry model. The fireball that comes out of the top due to porting is quite impressive, and will ruin your night vision.

I have mine to do run and guns with my Zastava M70 Underfolder, they make a great pair. The carry, despite the nighttime fireball, is the softest shooting 9mm I've shot thanks to the alloy frame and ported barrel.
