I just watched that good ol Christmas show with Yukon Cornelius and noticed that they have him open carrying a revolver. It's between the belt and body. Could it be termed "open mexican carry?"

Ritchie Leather does a holster that is between the belt and pants and I have one for the Rohrbaugh and he is making me one for the Glock 23.

Guns wore so,are easy to wear CLOSE and therefore do not print as much.

Uh... You mean IWB? Lot of us do. I run a Ernie Hill Speed Leather IWB for my 1911's or a Galico IWB for my snubbies.

That is how 'Belt Pistols' were carried...

Works good with the right Guns, works poorly or worse, with the wrong ones.

I'm familiar with iwb. I was more referring to essentially using the belt as a way to hold the gun.

I carry ITB, using an IWB holster (between belt and pants.) Carry guns are Kel-Tec PF-9 and Bersa Thunder .380. Like Scaaty says, it pulls the gun under the profile of the belt, smoothing out most of any printing. But, no, I do not do it without a holster.

I belive this is also known as "Plaxico carry".

I thought that brilliant moron attempted to carry it inside the waistband of his SWEATPANTS

OP is asking about Carry where the Pistol is between the Belt, and, Trousers/Pants...not IWB, not Holstered.

Lol...

Many people carried the longer Cap & Ball Revolvers that way.

Or similarly, used a strong Sash or a Sash over a Belt even I s'pose.

Works best with a long Barrel and a fat Cylinder.

bikini holster, gun in holster, holster has belt through outside between the belt and the pants. Yes very efficiant, one holster "a galco" fit's most all my medium frames

I stopped carrying Mexican style after I opened my fly in the restroom and my gun slid down my pant leg and almost fell out the bottom.

I have always carried my SP101 between my pants and my body, a metal clip hooks on my pants, my 2" belt hides the clip.

Include Wild Bill Hickock with Yukon Cornelius as wearing under belt (or sash) and on top of clothing.
