You mentioned she shoots a 10-22. Just so happens that Midway has
a sale on Fajent stocks for the Ruger. Although spendy retail for $149,
it is on sale for $99. It is designed for the target sized barrel, can't see
why a standard barrel would not work. Here is what it does! the stock
comb is adjustable, the lenghth of pull is adjustable, and the pad angle is
adjustable. Once dialed in, every time you mount the rifle to your shoulder,
the sights are right on with no head movement. I just put one on that I
had bid on at a Friends of the NRA Dinner. It is totally slick with high
magnification scopes and shooting offhand. Rock steady and the high
mag scope is right on when a face meld is made when mounting the rifle
