Anybody have good experience with Meprolight Bullseye sight?

I came across these sights, my uncle referred to them as a "gutter snipe", not sure why. It was hard to picture what he was trying to tell me but when I saw em I thought they looked like a nice set of iron sights. I know next to nothing about these, haven't seen them in real life but just saw a video clip of someone using a set. They look alright, I'm cautious to jump on anything "new" and "revolutionary" but they've been out a while. Anybody have a verdict on them? The lack of post sight makes me think they might be very good on smaller carry guns that might fit into your pocket like a G42/G43.

I have a Sig P365 SAS with that sight and like it for what it does. It's not a long range target sight though.

The ASP 9mm pistol (which was customized from a S&W Model 39) had a sighting system called the “guttersnipe” which loois to be not night and day different is use from the Meprolight sight.
