Anybody here owns NO guns at all?

I started lurking around here as a guest before I bought my first ones this year. Used everybody's overwhelming intellect to help me make my decisions :D

Seriously though, I did use a lot of the threads to do some research before buying my first one.

I'd reccomend THR to ANYBODY who thinks they might have the itch (to buy a gun that is).....

Wow, sounds worse in .il than in PRNJ... Nothing more frustrating, I know. Except maybe waiting on something you gotta have rather than just wanna have.

I was firearm-less for the first couple of months I was on TFL, waiting on PRNJ to finish diddling around with their socialism on the :barf: permit. Such is the life of a serf.

For those that are keeping track of things from our postings (i.e. the "Watchers")...

for the record: I DO NOT OWN ANY GUNS.

In fact, I do not even think about guns

.....In fact, I do not think about anything that you have not told me to think about...... Got it???

I am sure there are quite a few members who do not. I was very interested in buying my first gun a few years back when I was a member of TFL. If you were a firearm deficient person, could you think of a better place to research your interest?

Actually, you don't need a ticket to the U.S. All you really need is a ticket to Mexico and some hiking boots.

Bought my first gun after 9/11

I learned how to shoot when I was young (35 yrs ago) but did not actually own any myself until about 3 days after 9/11. I just gave it a low priority and did not want to spend the money.

Now I'm up to 8 guns and I've been shopping ever since.

When I joined TFL, I didn't have any guns. Then the bug bit me, and now I have 7. Just bought the last one - a beautiful Finn M/28-30 - yesterday. And I can hear the Weatherby Vanguard in .30-06 with a Leupod Vari-X IIc for $500 calling me as we speak.

This habit is spendy, huh?

I wish I did own guns. I do get to enjoy the pleasure of shopping for guns, but somehow right after the transaction ownership transfers to my wife or son (I have as of yet figured out how that happens). They have a pretty nice collection that I'm allowed to look at from time to time and keep a steady supply of ammo for each one. :banghead: :banghead:

I know (hope?) you are joking. Your country is in a war for its very survival (yet many Israelis don't seem to realize that). You can't leave until you do your service time. After that, well you shouldn't leave anyway- work from within, vote and try to change the G-d awful gun laws there.

Hey, if you really want to be allowed to own a gun that badly move to the territories- if you live somewhere where you will be shot at you may be allowed a gun. Or maybe you don't want one that badly:evil: :neener:

I don't own one! :( But then, i'm not yet old enough. First thing i'm doing on my 18th birthday...

Whooooaaa there pardner,

I thought all you Israeli's owned Uzi's and stuff like that?????

So whats the truth about Israeli gun laws?

alas...

I still don't own a single one. I've bought a decent amount of ammo though (to use with my uncle's arsenal out in the country). When I finally get a constant income here's my list, in chronological order:

XD40, tritium sights
IWB holster (for use when MO finally passes concealed carry)
big crate'o'ammo :D
lockable gun box thing (either this or get a new girlfriend)
cleaning eqpt.
reloading eqpt.
FAL parts
:D :D :D

aahhhhh
