I tried this over at GT but got no response.
Anybody know why my truck does this? Transmission?
I have a 2002 Tundra V8. It's a great truck for my commuting purposes and weekend Home Depot trips.
I have noticed that while decellerating just before I come to a stop, say at 15 MPH, I get a shudder NOT felt in the steering wheel. It happens whether or not the brakes are applied. I just can't tell if it's the tires or transmission. I've tried putting it in neutral while slowing down and it does seem to help...I think. It feel like you're riding over one of those rumble strips on on the road.
Can anyone help?
