Anybody know of any super-durable and reliable AR-15s?

Any properly made AR will be reliable and tough. My Colt hasnt been cleaned in at least 1200 rounds, many suppressed, and I dont have any problems. I Just relube it every so often. My Colt has about 3000 rounds through it now and has only been cleaned twice.

Roll marks have little to do with reliability. HOW THE GUN IS MADE has everything to do with reliability.

Roll marks are just that - marks in the aluminum. If the people making it start screwing up and don't put it together right, they make crap. Ask Colt why they lost a contract to FN.

And Remington.

Please let's not start another AR vs. AK debate. Everyione is entitled to their opinions about each rifle platform, but I'm going to go with Windham Weaponry. It's basically an original Bushmaster before they were sold to Remington. Windham Weaponry is the same exact people at the same exact location for a lower cost and same performance.

Short story:

No.

Just been to the range too many times with the tacticool guys having issues while my 10 22 (and the rest of them present) roll flawlessly. Even got to shoot a little last weekend with a friend after helping him out with a pre Appleseed shoot (he's a red hat). I was playing with the 10 22 shooting at 150 yards. His son wanted to give it a go, I got to take a few shots with the instructor's AR. Loaded 10 rounds. The second round marked the primer but didn't go. It fired when I reloaded it.
