Vellocet must retract! I just saw a close-up of the pistol on the PBS newshour and it is NOT spray-painted. It is, instead, according to the reporter, made from"solid gold". Guess it didn't get shot much. Looks like a hi-power, but SOLID GOLD! Wow.

The vast number of reporters are stupid when it comes to firearms and most everything else for that matter. You couldn't fire it if it was solid gold. If you spray painted one of Gaddafi's turds gold a reporter would probably say it was solid gold. Most of them don't know there pucker from a hole in the ground.

I hope that was sarcasm because there isn't such thing as a solid gold Hi Power, it's Gold plated.

Gadaffy was rich. I could totally picture him having a gold "plated" gun. Pure gold is soft, it wouldnt make a good firearm.
