I've seen some comments posted on other sites that the FC marked brass from American Eagle factory loads tends to be weaker than most others. The info was directed at 223, but I was wondering if anyone had experience reloading AE 308? Can I reload it a few times?

I don't think you'll have ANY trouble with it. (I've got 3-4 loadings on mine so far with no primer pockets loosening, no case head separations and no split necks)

Have a good one,
Dave

There is a lot of confusion on the issue.

American Eagle (by Federal) is by all accounts good brass.

Brass with the headstamp "A-MERC" is another brand and is very low quality.

I had 70pcs of Amer. Eagle .308 brass, of that I kept 43 for reloading the rest were culled out for one reason or another.

I've only had troubles with the Federal brass casings with glued primers. Usually had primer flow, even with the wider Federal primers and threw the brass into my scrap bucket.
