Anybody Tried Cabelas Cheap .380 Ammo?

A P3AT owner says he fired 60 rounds, had no problems, and felt it wasn't any dirtier than WWB.

Sounds good to me. Those 500 I ordered may be a bargain after all.

I got mine in today, it's Pindad brand, which I've used before in .308 and it was good ammo. Brass cased and non-corrosive. Now if it was only Boxer primed....

I received my Herter 380 ammo tuesday and shot it today through my Desert Eagle Micro, Keltec P-3AT and my Bersa.

It was flawless in all three pistols.

It felt like it had a little more punch than the Walmart flat nose ammo I also had and shot today.

I haven't taken the pistols apart for cleaning yet but it does not appear to be dirty like most Russian ammo I have shot.

IMO it's good ammo at a good price.

I think that stuff is magnetic.

The last range I went to didn't allow magnetic bullets.

The case is steel. The bullet is not going to be steel -jacketed or -cored.

I've tried both Cabela's MFS and Herter's. The MFS was all good...similar to WWB. The Herter's was quite dirty and I had 2 FTF's in 34 rounds. Those were in Beretta's mind you, which tend to overstrike the primers so you rarely have a FTF normally.

I've shot at least 300 of them.

Hot ... the feed fine on my Bersa.
