I think I want a couple in 12 gauge for an old Sarasqueta SxS I bought in 1971 which is a little beat up, but solid and shoots fine. I bought that gun in 1971, but have other guns for hunting now. Heck, this would be cheaper than buying a dedicated SxS black powder double. :D Of course, I have a 16 gauge single shot hammer gun I don't use either, but I like the idea of 2 shots. :D

I've been considering purchasing one of these in another gauge and only found one star subtracted after reading many 5 star reviews.

They are tight through the bore but can skew when they hit the chamber. " --->>> https://www.selfrelianceoutfitters....muzzle-loader-adapter#shopify-product-reviews

I also think that users should be careful about keeping the shot load on top of the powder after being loaded.
In the video, he didn't use much wadding and I thought that his shot load was going to fall right out of the barrel!

I would have tightly compressed some balled up newspaper for wadding over the powder & over the shot.

I had that same thought about the wax paper. I'll order wads from Dixie if I get 'em. I'll need a longer ramrod, too. The ones they sell on that adapter site are 70 bucks, but they're break down. I'm thinkin' they might be shock corded. If I get into this, I'll have to get the wife to make me a possibles bag. She likes making bags. :D
