I'm not sure if this is the appropriate section or if this should go in the Shotgun section, but it's a black powder item.

Has anyone ever used this? If yes, what were your thoughts?

It's a steel adapter that allows shot to be loaded on top of bp (no smokeless) and is ignited by a 209 primer. It ships with #5 lead shot, but for those who have used it, have you ever used buckshot, like #4?

I liked the 12g to 9mm pathfinder as it has 8in rifled tube that slides in a singleshot shotgun like I own two now :) so this way can shoot 9mm in my shotgun! thanks truthtellers I saved that website for that shotgun adapter.

Your welcome. Merry Christmas. Thanks for helping answer my question >_>

Wonder what wears out? The o-rings or maybe the primer pocket burns out. Seems that modern metallurgy could beat this in a second and o-rings are easy to replace.

I was told that it was OK to shoot damascus with black powder loads. The one advantage of this full length metal shotshell is that it provides additional metal between the powder and the barrel.

I have several Short Lane adapters, but not the blackout adapters. That, to me, is just a waste. You're better off buying a box of Magtech full brass hulls and loading them up. They last forever with black powder loads.

I have the 20 ga to .410 adapter, and it's really handy in my Savage 24 C. I been looking at the BP adapter and Santa might just bring me one if she [I mean ''he''] does, I'll give you an after action report.

If you want to shoot a old bp shooty why not just reload full length brass shells much cheaper and will last longer
Yeah, I've decided that this is the route I'm going to go.
