I set up a pistol to shoot Texas Ammo Co's 45 Super Express. The recoil of this 230gr 1200fps 735fpe ammo is a little harsh out of my G21 using a 6inch KKM barrel. Is the KKM compensator a good choice for recoil reduction or is there one that is known to do a significantly better job?

I have a kkm on my g20. It is truly shocking how much of a difference it will make. I have shot it on and off and will never take it off (other then for cleaning) again.

It takes the sting out of really hot 10mm's.

My one beef is the allen screws into the threads. I wish there were a better way.

I just bought a kkm barrel and comp. It was supposed to be drop in but took about 5 minutes with a stone to get it perfect for my loads. It was just a hair tight. Great barrel by the way. It is quite accurate.

THE Accessories used to make the compensators that Glockmeister sold with KKM barrels. Don't know if THE makes the KKM compensators, or whether KKM makes 'em.

I use compensated Accu-Match barrels, through which I've shot .400 Cor-Bon, .40 Super, .45 Super and .450smc with my G21. Genuine, chambered compensators, eg., KKM comps, make a huge difference in slide speed/frame pounding/muzzle flip and perceived recoil.
