Anyone bobbed a Kimber?

Hello all,

I have a Kimber Pro CDP II, and while I really like the gun, I want a bobbed frame. Has anyone sent out a Kimber to get bobbed? Who does good work without a long waiting period? I would love to get on a list, but do not want the gun gone for 8-12 months. I would love to see some pictures of any that have been done, and if it were a Pro CDP II that would be even better. Thank you for your time.

Here's 2 CDPs off another forum.

Neither of them sent theirs to Kimber. They both did them themselves with the jig.

Jimmie,

I did not know there was a jog for this. Do you know where I can find this jog, and how hard it is to do? Definitely food for thought.

Brownells or Midway sell the MSH and the jig. You need a way to cut the frame and drill the hole. Those that have done it say it's not hard at all. I imagine it's cake if you have the right tools - I do not so I can't say for sure.
