Just wondering if anyone purchased a Gen 4 Glock 19 in the past few weeks that came from the factory with the new ejector? From what I've read Glock has been replacing the old "336" ejector with the new "30274" for already fielded guns. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a factory fresh unit with the new ejector already in it.

I'm planning on purchasing a new G19 Gen 4 but was waiting until the new ejector started coming from the factory. I notice that Davidson's and Bud's had a few weeks where the Gen 4's were out of stock so I was thinking that maybe Glock had done a field replacement at the various distribution centers and so factory units would be close behind.

Any news would be appreciated.

I have one of the first new Gen 4 19s. its even has the older gen3 slick black finish. They replaced the firing pin, spring cups, ejector housing, fire pin safety, recoil spring and slide lock.
Before they fixed the gun I would get every shell right in my forehead. This is my 2nd g19 but ive owned way to many glocks in the past to know it was the gun. I say try finding one at a gun shop and take it apart when your looking at it to verify what serial numbers are on the bottom of the recoil spring and the ejector. if the recoil spring has 2 number and not the 3 stamped on its older and the recoil spring is smaller and had a tendency to let the slide ram to fast and cause odd ejection patters. The ejector itself also had a hand in that.

I heard recently that someone bought a brand new Gen4 G34 and it had the new ejector. It had a test-fire date of 10-18-2011.

That is good news. Perhaps the supply channel is just about flushed out of the problematic stock. When I saw the large online sellers simultaneously go out-of-stock at the same time I was hoping that it was due to Glock either holding back on shipments to them until they had the new parts in place or, perhaps, doing an on-site field upgrade. Now I just have to wait until the local shops either do a return with their distributors or sell off their old stock. Should not take long with a gun as popular as Glock.

Good to know there is a new design out. My Gen4 19 has the "336" ejector and maybe 1 out of 20 cases goes over my head. But through ~1,200 rounds its functioning has been flawless and is rapidly becoming my favorite Glock. Ran a couple of hundred rounds through my 1968 vintage Browning Hi-Power yesterday; by a long shot it's still my most favorite handgun.

On the Lone Wolf website, replacement trigger housings with ejector are $8.25 and shipping is $3.50 or so. Easy as pie to replace and less than $12 leaves me a spare I know I can trust.

I'll just wait for the website to get them in stock and keep enjoying my 19 in the meantime. Maybe my BHP too.
