i recently purchased a glock 19 3rd gen with a 336 ejector. my first trip to the range i had several empty casings hit me in the forehead, a few on my arm and an overall erratic ejection at best. i have read quite a few posts about this very problem. i guess glock changed the ejector somewhere along the way, i don't know why, maybe they always ejected like that? i ordered a lone wolf extractor but that is currently on back order with midway, but i read online that a new extractor was not always the problem. i read somewhere that someone had success with changing the angle on the ejector so that the brass would clear the slide when ejected, well that made good sense to me so i took a small flat file the my ejector so that it angled the brass upward upon ejection. so far so good, only tested it with 20 rounds, but the result was zero casings to my forehead, and 20 holes in a rather tight pattern in the snow about 3 to four feet to my 3 o clock. It is a rather short test but so far so good.
