Anyone buy handguns from Walmart?

Sorry it's over your head. Wal-Mart can sell whatever they want, I still won't buy it. I'll support my LGS. Get it?

When I was a kid (in 45) Walmarts in the midwest sold handguns; now they (and others) are too 'family friendly' to sell them...

(I do see their side of the liability coin, though, too...)

Hey, when I was a kid (ca. late 50s) Sears had all kinds of handguns and rifles in their catalog. Those were the days....

Can't buy what they don't sell. They have just now started selling a few long guns in my two local WW'S.

why would walmart still sell them in alaska? walmart works off of volume you would think the market wouldnt be big enough for them to bother

I'm assuming by your response you've never been to Alaska (the bush in particular) Spend a little time where guns are part of your daily life and not something that gets brought to the range once a month.
