Interested in seeing some carry rigs for the Ruger GP100 3". Any thin guys pulling it off? How well does it conceal? I would like to see some pix if possible. I still can't make up my mind between the SP101 3" and the 3" GP.

BTW - this gun will serve a multipurpose - CCW and HD/ range/ truck/ fun gun.

Thanks

I don't have that version, but I do have a 4" GP100. With my Rafter S holster, I can carry the 4" GP100 concealed without too much effort. If the 3" GP100 you have also has the smaller, more rounded grip, then CCW with a good holster should be easy. Check out Rafter S. Their work is top notch and the prices are about what you'd pay or less for production stuff like Galco. I got a sharkskin holster from Rafter S for $70 (plain leather was $40). The Galco it replaced was $65.

Oh, I'm not thin, but I'm not fat either (5'11" and 215lbs with a center bias :p ).

I really would like to see the 3" fixed sighted GP100 in person. Looks like a nice gun.

I saw a used 3" once at Cabelas. The price for it was close to what my local shops carry NIB GP's for. They do look very nice for carry though.
