I am currently in the planing/drawing stages of an early period rifle...It will probably be a short barreled large caliber flinter, similar to a boar gun, but slightly less germanic, because it will be closer to the revolutionary war period of time. large firelock, single wide set trigger, wide early style butt plate. There will be photos posted during different stages of construction, which is due to begin this fall...Will probably take around 150 hrs to build. Anyone else building?
