My husband and I were going through Manassas today and made a stop at Virginia ARms. I haven't been there before, but hubby has. He went off to look at some AR 15 rifles, and I was looking at pistols. I rreally fell in love with a Beretta 92!

The salesman was really nice to me, and didn't talk to me like I'm an idiot, even though I feel like one. He was a big guy with a goatee, but I can't remember his name. He was really patient, too.

It seems like every time I go into a gun store, the clerks either ignore me because I'm female, or treat me like an idiot. It was really refreshing to get first class treatment!

The store sure seems like a good one. Does anyone else have any experience with them?

I think there is basically unanimous agreement that Virginia Arms in Manassas is the best gun store in the Washington area. If you're looking for a handgun or semi-auto rifle it's the place to go. They have a good selection of used consignment guns and holsters as well. The only reason to go somewhere else is if you are looking for a bolt action rifle or over-under shotgun. The employees are very professional and are the opposite of the typical gun store know it alls.

Been to Virginia Arms half a dozen times just browsing, never buying. Have always been treated courteously and respectfully.

It's my current favorite gunstore.

The thing I like the most about them, is that they take consignments but only if they are priced somewhat reasonably. Everytime I go in there, there's always something that I am tempted to buy.

Virgina Arms and NOVA Armament are both the best outfits in the northern Virginia area. However I do want to visit Mountain View Gun Shop in Luray, VA.

I've been going to VA Arms ever since Bernie took it over (I guess that's like 12+ years).

They stand behind their products. If you ever have a problem, just go talk to them about it. Either they'll fix it or send it back to the factory for you. I've even returned a gun that never worked correctly--over a year later (they knew about the problems).

You cannot go wrong with VA Arms.

Nova Armament is new...but also very good.
