I hesitate to post this, but just in case it's a pattern; I was notified today about a fraudulent charge which, on further investigation, I found 3 false charges for approximately $9000 in the last 4 days. By coincidence, the only place I've used that credit card out of my usual grocery store/Walmart pattern for the past month was on the same day as the first fraudulent charge and that was to upgrade my NRA membership online.

I'm not saying it's connected at all, but just in case some hackers have hold of the NRA website or something and it's a pattern for others, I thought we should figure it out by pooling info. Certainly it could have been hacked on site at local stores, but this is a credit card that only I use and one that I never use at restaurants or places where it leaves my possession. Interestingly, whoever got hold of the number and date of expiration used another family member's phone number (one digit off) and that person was called to check on the charge and sent the message on to me or it would have been days before I noticed in all likelihood.
