Anyone Else Prefer the Ruger SR9 to the S&W M&P?

Still no evidence they did not get some help or guidence from say Walther or other Europeans. .

(Edited for length)

You made the initial claim and he asked for evidence that supports your claim.

You're the one that needs to back up your claim not him disprove you.

Its like saying you invented cold fusion and offering no back up and telling the other scientists that they will have to prove you didnt. Bassackwards.

Don't waste your time waiting for legion3 to come through with anything remotely resembling evidence of his "truth" regarding his intentional disinformation about the M&P's design.

That is incorrect I do not troll on Glocktalk. I challenge you to find a troll thread on Glocktalk from me.

And I do not usually troll here either.

To all here other than Boats , I apologize, I really don't know who built the M&P and don't care, Boats does though and it was him and only him that my notions were aimed at. His reactions were exactly what I was hoping for.

He is a serial Glock basher and when Reaper4206969 first brought up the idea (I actually never made an initial claim in the other thread where all this started - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=510092), and Boats responded to him, well it was clear a good opportunity appeared.

I do admit I put to much of a specific claim in this thread only in response to Boats so I do apologize to all the others.

I was not worried about taking the high road with Boats he never does with any other Glock threads.

Actually I apologize to you too Boats, I had a fine time with you but its time to move on. Try not bashing Glocks everytime. Cheers!

I looked at a brand new SR9 in the case yesterday.

Understand, I am really trying to like this gun. It feels good.........but the trigger! It's simply horrid.

I estimate the pull on this one to be at least 12# or more.

I'll take an XD/XD-m, M&P or even a <gasp> Glock before I'll take an SR9. Now if I see one that's had a trigger job on it, I may reconsider, but I'm concerned about the reports of barrel peening I've read about.
