Anyone ever heard of Ammo Shop online?

I don't want to sound negative , but those prices on their website are ridiculous. Over $120 for a brick of .22? I can buy .22 for $60 a brick right now , and I think that price is uncalled for.

grammontS....
You are correct but....none where I'm at locally.
And most of the online guys are either completely out or
are priced just as bad.
And if this shortage is to go on till Aug. of '22, ( as I'm hearing ) then I figure get it now.
Now that plus what I already had.....I'm good till then.

What happens in August 2022??

BTW-My local Cabela's had 333round boxes of 22LR for $25...

BUT

https://www.wikiarms.com/group/22LR

FFG Colorado....

I have heard from multiple places not to expect this to go away till then.

My Cabelas have none!

And your link has prices similar or higher.

Just seems like an arbitrary date, 'August 2022'..and the thread was about a specific online ammo reseller and my point is that there are plenty of online places that have 22lr, at about the same $..
But my local Cabelas, BassPro, Murdocs, Sportsman's Warehouse, Jax..
have had various calibers and amounts..not all the same at all places, all the time but me and my sons(the youngest one makes the rounds 2-3 times per week)have had no trouble finding the calibers we use.
22lr, 38S, 9mm, 380(just got 100 yesterday for $19 per 50...380 FMJ), 223....

You are obviously in an area where the ammo supplies are much better than where I'm at.
Good for you. I hope that does not change for you.
But my reality is mine. Stores where I'm at are empty.
I have no choice but to buy online. I don't over all buy much ammo, as I reload everything I shoot that is center fire. I am pretty well stocked with those supplies because I prepared ahead. But again my local stores have nothing in powder and primers. Bullet heads are pretty much available.
Do what you gotta do.

I have between 3K and 4K rounds of .22 RF. Some longs, a brick + of shorts , and the rest LR. Not a lot if you are a regular shooter, but being in poor health I am now a seldom shooter. I still have a brick of white box LR's I paid $7.77 for on sale at Cabela's. $10.00 a brick was the most I have paid. I shake my head at current prices. What a rip off.

I've always seen them on ammoseek and noticed their prices can change all thru out the day. Looks like those $120 bricks of Norma .22 are $90 right now

I just got my order for 9mm Inceptor ARX yesterday shipped FedX got it in 6 days. $29 for 25 rounds plus $13 S&H. They don't seem to have a large stock. As soon as I ordered my 1 box the were "out of stock" on my item. So if you see something they have on ammo seek at a price you like you should hit it right away may not be there in an hour

I’ve used several times with good results. Ammo prices are what they are. If they were low, they wouldn’t have any and you’d be SOL.

Bought a box off of them so did my sister. They are expensive but who isnt? That has ammo in stock.

^^^I gotta agree, especially when they charge $20 to ship a brick of .22, plus a $5 handling fee. That would be $125 for their cheapest .22 LR. That's $.25 a pop. For .22. Yep, ridiculous, even in today's market.

People that pay $120 for a brick of 22s are THE Cause of the problem. Not the people that sell it for $120. If it weren't for them and those that pay ridiculous prices there would be plenty for every one. And I do not apologize for sounding negative.

As others have said you pay what you have to pay in this market not all of us are equipped to be loaders some of us just don't possess those kinds of skills

I was actually going to buy some 17hmr ammo from them, but when the shipping on 5 boxes was the same cost as the ammo, I said heck with it. $71 for shipping? Utterly ridiculous, and I honestly hope no one is foolish enough to buy from them. If that isn't price gouging, I don't know what is.
