Hey guys and gals. I am going to be adding a 24/7 pro in 9mm to the collection and plan buying from Buds gun shop online. Has anyone ever had interesting dealings with their local FFL? How was the online purchase received by the local guy?

Thanks
Joe

Never had a problem with my FFL guy. I have bought many guns via the Internet through him and it's been a steady revenue for him. He actually came down on his fee after the third purchase. I've made dozens since. You just have to find a dealer with good business sense.

I find the easiest way to avoid any drama is to find your local "kitchen table" FFL holder or a specialty shop that does transfers through GunBroker.com's FFL finder. I've done it both through the bigger shops and the smaller guys and without fail, the better service has been through the smaller guys.

Shop around. Prices for the handling the transfer paperwork vary widely. It seems to average around $20 around here.

Thanks guys...my local guy said he would give me 10% off which makes it the same price as buds.

I am going tonight to pick up my new 24/7 Pro SS 17+1. I am excited...this is my second polymer gun and I am excited to see how it does.
