I got a heckuva deal on some plane tickets and my wife wants to visit a friend in Bentonville AR, so we're flying to Oklahoma City on Friday, April 4th, where my brother from Albuquerque will pick us up and take us to Tulsa. I'll have all day Saturday and maybe a little time Sunday to see the show.

Anybody else going? I've heard it's a huge show, my brother told me to bring the best walking shoes I have. Maybe I can meet some fellow THR members.

Won't be able to make it - the Arkansas spring turkey season opens April 5. I have heard the same about the Tulsa show. It is suppose to be enormous.

wannamaker's tulsa show is like 5 acres of guns with very little non gun related stuff, hard to see it all in one day. but our turkey season starts that weekend too, so i wont be there. have fun 187

I think that I'll be going again. I love that show. It's almost TOO big, though. Walking at a fairly brisk pace and just stopping to look (usually briefly and to note where they are in the show) stuff that interests me, I normally cover the show in about three or four hours. That is a BRISK walking pace, too. I normally get there and enter with dealers that I know to get a head start on the crowds. I make my best time early. I probably cover 2/3 of the show in the first half of my time and then fight crowds for the other 1/2 of my time for the other 1/3 of the show. If you are a slow walker who likes to look closely at everything, you won't cover the show in a day.
