Anyone have thoughts on the Classic arms K98 sniper replica

I see on classic arms web site they are going to be selling a K98 sniper riffle replica. Looks pretty good and is $100 cheaper then IO is selling one. On;y difference i can see is that the IO rifle has the sniper safety on it.

Anyone have thoughts on there replica? Been thinking about one and i like the price. They are saying its a limited run and are taking preorders right now.

The guys on the Sniper Rifle forum at gunboards thought their workmanship was rather shoddy on the initial ones, but I haven't really kept up on these more recent batches.

Could you point me to the link at gunboards? I was unable to find any info on the classic arms K98 snipers there.

I just got a regular K98k from Classic Arms and I am pleased with it, but I haven't shot it yet - cleaning the cosmo off it tonight. I can't speak for their snipers, but the standard rifles are as they say they are.
