Hello my name is Brion and I am addicted to C&R guns. I have developed a 10 step problem to curve the addiction.

Some of the sign of a C&R addiction.

Do you:
1. Hate to see your credit card bill every month.
2. When the mail comes read the SOG, Centerfire, CAI, etc flyer first.
3. Love the smell of cosmoline in the morning.
4. Have your C&R on file on more then 10 places.
5. Spend hours looking though Gun auction's looking for that rare gun for your collection.
6. Go to auctions looking for a bargain C&R gun.
7. Did you overnight FedEx your CMP Order for an inland carbine, so they got it on the first.
8. Have more than Mosin Nagant rifle.
9. Get excited when the UPS/FedEx truck pulls in.
10. Put rifle stocks in the oven.

These are just some of the signs of C&R addiction.

Here's my 10 step program to cure you.

1. Let your C&R expire.
2. Sell your other 5 types of Mosin Nagant's, 98's,1903's, M1's, etc.
3. Give your Credit card to your Spouse.
4. Post a letter on here admitting your problem.
5. Limit your time in rifle county to one hour a week.
6. Throw away the Firearms catalogs before you look at them.
7. Set your computer to block, auction arms, gun broker, and guns America.
8. Stay away from cosmoline (smell may cause a relapse).
9. Don't go to AIM's or others web sites.
10. No more M1 carbine's from the CMP.

IF the program works for you, Send me $10 (i have a T53 i need to pay for)

I don't have much patients....do they make a patch?

Oh and will I gain weight if I quite?:D

LOL nice list btw, I've already attempted some of these techniques but I always find myself sneaking off to the gun store when I'm not being watched:scrutiny:

Hmm, let's look at that list... Yes, yes, yes, ....

Sell my Mosin Nagant's?! I don't think so. :cuss:

I still have plenty of room in my fourth gun cabinet, even after those two more 91/30s I just ordered.

I can quit anytime I want to. I just don't want to right now. :uhoh:

And look at all that money I'm saving with my C&R! :D

do they make a patch
Try one of those Hoppe's/cosmo soaked ones when you first clean the barrel. ;)

sig fam, you should. that be like what. 5$ extra a day for guns? 5$ X 7 days a week= 35$ extra. heck, thats nother t53 before shipping!

I don't have a problem ..I can stop anytime.
I only have a little K-31 ,Mosin-Nagant 91/30.yugo M-48, yugo sks,mosin-nagant M-38,and M1 inland...see no problem

I've thought about it.....

I run through roughly a pack a day, out of a carton of 10 @ $30.50 out the door is $3.05/pack or $21.35/week
OR:what:
Darn near a Springfield M1A Standard A YEAR!!!

Or to really kick myself in the rear...............

For the roughly 10 years I've smoked that's (considering cigarette prices are higher in Maine for the first 4 years, cheaper in NC, add inflation n' all)$11,102.00:banghead:
OR A TRANSFERABLE M16!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if I could find a lawyer to take that one on?? Sue Phillip Morris for funds to buy an NFA firearm that were lost due to their talon-like advertizing....

And NO, I don't have a MilSurp problem EITHER:evil:

:D

I just prefer to stay in denial until I hit rock bottom. Until then I don't have a problem.

Yea, it's just that some of us never seem to know when we've bottomed out.
