Anyone heard of Miwall ammo?

Don't know about Miwall, but that site is selling 9x23 Win as 9mm Largo! They would loose my money just for that. Could you image some poor Joe sticking a mag full of that into his Star?

yes

Miwall is a reloading company out of Northern California. I think their reloads are very good and well priced. They also frequently have great deals on factory ammo.

I would recommend them as an addition to your vendor list for ammo. I've been using their ammo for about 10 years. They are a staple at the gun shows out here and their mail order pretty quick as well.

Discovered them last year a the gun show, when I double checked prices after that first encounter, and went back the next day, they had almost nothing left. Now I buy when I see them on the first day! :)

I got some 40 S&W reloads from them and have had no problems. And I usually buy factory ammo, at least that which I don't reload, from them.

I buy from them at local gunshows. I have shot thousands of rounds of their 9mm, .45acp. .38spl, .357mag, and .44mag without a single problem.

They also have great prices on factory ammo (.223rem, 7.62x39, .22lr etc)

Never Placed an Order

Because their internet sight always has a sign up saying they are closed until they can ship all their backlog orders. I have no idea if they are for real, probably very small and not able to meet demand.... which usually leads to raising prices.

I've had good luck with their 38 & 44 SPL and 44 mag. In A little over 1000 rounds I've only seen 2 rounds where the bullet wasn't seated correctly, but you catch that before you load it into a weapon. I was pretty accurate for inexpensive ammunition.

Outdoormarksman and Miwall are not the same company. Outdoormarksman is just a distributor for Miwall.

The Miwall site is down every now and then, but I always figured that they were just busy with gun shows. I looked at their gun show schedule and during 1 weekend, they were at 3 gun shows. But since Outdoormarksman is a different company, I would expect them to have the ammo in stock.

Anyway, I don't use other people's reloads (I can reload my own), but if I were going to, I'd be fine with using Miwall. They do lots of business at the gun shows here and I've never heard anyone complain about their ammo. I do buy primers, powder, Wolf 7.62x39, and Aussie .308 from them.

MiWall's Site is back up

as of last night. Their prices are very good, but there are a bunch of hidden charges. There is a "per package" charge for each box in the shipment, there is a "handling charge" for the whole order. In kali, there is that 8.5% sales tax and then the UPS shipping charges on top of all that.

That raises their prices to me above what I can get at other internet places.

The real bummer about MiWall is that they INSIST on tagging the delivery with signature only, so if you work for a living you have to stay home and wait for the package.

The other thing that looked odd was on the sire it said something like "most orders ship within a week". Really? I'd hope so!

I bought a case of 9mm reload ammo from them at a gunshow that was basically junk. Sometimes 2-3 jams per MAGAZINE. And I never have problems with any of the branded ammo that I normally get, both remanufactured and new (and I have tried most commonly available brands) so I have to put it down to this case. Unfortunately, it was 1000 rounds, too, so I am stuck with a fair amount of it.

Never again.

I bought 1000 rounds of .45 acp S&B from them at a gun show for $183 including tax.

I've never tried their 'reloads'

I've always purchased their 'fresh' ammon made with all new components. It's loaded pretty conservatively, but always been decent fodder. Besides, it provides me once-fired brass at a great price....:D

I have purchased thousands of .45ACP, 9mm and .38 from them w/o any problems. Have bought S&B, Winchester and some varieties of their bulk ammo in ammo cans. But, I bought it all "live", at a show, I quit buying ammo and having it shipped, don't save that much after paying shipping.
Now that I'm reloading .45ACP, I'm buying less, but I still check 'em out for .38 and 9mm.
