I was in walmart and saw some savage .22lr rifles for mosin prices.

they where I believe the Model MARK II-F, or the walmart equivalents. anyone know if they are any good, as they where less expensive then the Marlin 60. :scrutiny:

Just wondering if they are a good plinking .22 rifles, as I would enjoy being able to shoot more, and .22lr is a LOT less expensive then 6.5 x 55

I have a BV with a Bushnell 4X12-40 on top. A Harris bipod helps keep it steady at the bench or when I rarely get a shot in the prone. I shoot golf balls offhand at 20 yards and @ 50 prone or benched all day long. I'm sure it can shoot tighter, I just haven't had it out and tried yet. Maybe this fall...

I have one of the WallyWorld IIF's and really enjoy it. Good gun even if it took them 4 tries to find one without rust and 2 1/2 hrs to make the purchase!
