Anyone know how to take apart a Lee Auto Drum Powder measure?

The main body of it, where the heavy spring is located. I have one of those swivel adapter and the metal "H" shaped o ring or spacer is bent and coming off. I see no way to remove it,? yet I have a replacement swivel?? I am concerned with the large spring letting loose and no being ab;e to compress it back in?? I searched for videos buy can't find one that mentions this??

I have seen someone put on a hose clamp to prevent the, for lack of a better word, ears from springing outward.

Call Lee and talk to them about it.

It's a result of the materials used, and the design. Mostly the materials. Believe me, you're not the first to whom this has happened.

The temp fix you used (smushing the ears back together) is just that; temporary.

Mine has been sent back twice in the first year. Third time's a charm. been going 1.5yrs. now.
