Anyone know the lead time for MG bullets

I ordered some Montana Gold bullets but their confirmation email or website said nothing about delivery dates/times. This is my 1st order from them so I have no idea what to expect.

I placed an order on May 21 and my credit card was charged the 27th, so I'm guessing the order shipped. I think they are alittle slower than usual because of the current situation.

I ordered some 40 cal from them in april and got them within a week. My order for a loading press and supplies finally shipped from midway USA....now for the long wait on primers........................

I got the shipping conf.#. So 6 days from order to ship. Now just wait for the angry mailman lugging the 65 lb box of lead to the door.

I received my MG order within two weeks of placing it, whereas I'm STILL waiting on .357 158gr JHPs from Zero/Roze. I'm not sure about the number of lines working at the same time, but in talking with someone from Roze it sounded like they put all their production against a single or few bullets for a while, then retool, etc. If you place your order after they've "moved on" and they're already out of stock, well, you wait a while I guess.

My experience has been different

I ordered some bullets from MG on May 4 (per the web site they were not marked OUT) and have not received them as of May 27. I sent them an e-mail opn May 19 for a status and have not had a reply to that e-mail as of May 27. Their web site now shows both weight bullets I ordered as OUT.

Previously I had ordered from them and received the product in a week to ten days.

I did see another thread somewhere that a guy was complaining that he couldn't get an answer on their 800 number.

I wanted to update my post of yesterday to advise that I got an e-mail notice today that MG shipped my order. Approx, 24 days from order to ship, which is not bad in this panic market.

They used to ship the next day earlier in the year, and they filled large orders quick. Now,4 box limit orders take about a week. Last order was placed Thurs of last week. Shipping notification was Wed. of this week. Fun to see boxes of bullets with mfg dates of less then a week old.

Next Day Ship from MG

I now know that it depends on what you order. I just ordered (6/1/09) 2 cases of 115 FMJ, .355 bullets and I just got notice that they shipped today (6/2/09).
If product is in stock they ship fast. Their web site must NOT show real time inventory status, since last order took 24 days to ship. Excellent in this screwy market.

God I bet the USPS just hates them!
