So I picked up a bunch of brass at the range the other day. The only problem is, I have no idea what it goes to. I'm really thinking it's a .223 as it looks similar in size, but the headstamp doesn't say .223. It's got a LC which I assume is Lake City.

Anyway, here are a few pictures. There are also pictures comparing it to a .243 so you can see the size difference.

.243 Winchester brass on the left, this unknown on the right.

Here is a picture I thought was cool of several pieces of the brass.

So any idea what caliber it's from? Also is it worth anything selling it, or is it pretty much just scrap?

It's 5.56 (aka .223). The circle with the cross inside indicate it's NATO spec. By no means should you scrap it; someone will surely pay something for it.

You're right, LC means Lake City; 06 is the year of production.

It will need to have the crimp removed from around the primer pocket before using but other than that it is great for reloading.

Anyone know how much 54 pieces of this stuff should be worth? I also have a decent bit of .223 I've picked up from the range. It says .223 on the head stamp. Should I try to sell it together, or would I want to sell this separate from the .223?

$4.86 assuming that it's once fired and that includes shipping.
