I am looking at going to a lighter, but economical tac light in the Surefire g3. I found a nice mount at gg&g for 17 bucks. Now I would need a pressure switch. Any ideas here as to what to get and where to get it. Needs to be quality. Thanks.

I have used the switch on SF and clone bodies. The fit and finish is excellent. I always clean and lube threads and O rings with Nyogel 760 (also available from lighthound)

I posted this in another thread:

I wonder what kind of quality this adapter is?

Funny, I've got one in my hands.

It looks good; the pressure pad is quite soft, and it seems to have two distinct pressure "clickys" inside. If you squeeze right in the middle of the pad, the light will come on, with no audible or tactile feedback.

I would (and did) purchase a Solar Force PTS3 (same one mentioned by highorder above) from Jimdo here on THR. It allows for both a traditional tailswitch and pressure switch (which is removable) in a single unit. His service was good, and mine has performed well (especially for the price).
