Anyone load their 9mm bullets in 38 Spl?

Had a Lee 6 banger 124 grn. 9mm mold, tried some cast 50/50 WW/lead light Bullseye loads in .38 special, accuracy was exceptional and recoil was minimal.

I load 38 Super 130 gr FMJ bullets into 38 Special cases all the time for plinking ammo. Work great and I can't tell the difference in that and the 124 gr 38 Specials I used to shoot.

The biggest issue that I can see is that most bullets intended for use in a 9x19 loading do not have a cannelure, and case neck tension for normally-size 38 Special brass will be inadequate to hold the bullet without a crimp.

Since I'm shooting cast lead .356 bullets, I roll-crimp the case mouth right into the lead bullet, and as a result the bullet is locked up pretty well. Not giving a firm roll crimp may cause the bullets to pull rather dramatically under recoil.
