Ok I have been an Esee guy for some time now but lately I have been looking at the Tom Brown Trackers but couldn't decide if I should get one or not. Very cool looking but would it be useful? I takes me awhile to decide such things since I don't know anyone with one to get any user feed back. On the net the opinions on the Tom Brown Trackers seem to be mixed. No one seems to dispute the quality of them or really any Tops knives for that matter, but it seems like people argue what it is best suited for. Some seem to think it is just too bazer to be useful. But anyhow I found a deal I just couldn't pass on. I got the Tom Brown #1 and it came with free shipping and a free Esee Izula! So I decided what the heck and got one.

I decided on the #1 instead of the #2 because I felt I would have more use for a larger knife. This is my first Tops knife I might add. So I'm hoping for a little feedback from those who own one. And also which one you have. thanks

Nope

But if you can find me a job where I'd have an excuse to use one, I'd surely buy one.

I can just see myself whipping one of those out to open the carton for some printer toner or a wireless router.

On the other hand, maybe I could find work locally as a guide's assistant. Much hiking and hacking. but then, knowing me, I'd probably wind up getting the Buck Hoodlum and an upgraded Mora.

:)

I had the opportunity to use one in the woods for a couple of days and decided not to purchase one. I came to the conclusion that it was too heavy a solution to too many of the problems it was trying to solve.

I hope when you get out to the woods you find that it serves your purpose.
