Looking for a gunsmith in the Denver (or within an hour or so) area. Anyone have any recommendations? I've used only one, and I wouldn't recommend him.

Looking to have a trigger job done on a 1911, and maybe some other work.

Thanks.

Pat at PM Custom Pistols in Loveland, CO did some work on one of my 1911's: replaced trigger with SV ITS trigger, trigger job, did some custom milling on a front-sight, installed new sights, and smoothed some edges near the beavertail which were sharp from the factory. I am satisfied with the work, the price was right, and he was easy to deal with. His number is 970-612-1911.

Any Changes in Suggestions?

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has any changes in recommendations for a reliable Denver-area gunsmith.

Need some work on my SP101.

Thanks,
Mike

TJ's Firing Line Gunsmith, 261 Airport Blvd. in Aurora. 303-363-1911. They did the polish and blue job on my RIA, and these photos don't do it justice. It's so pretty it's hard to get good photos of it. Busy place though.

Another good guy is John Kelley in Parker. Kelley Sports LLC, 303-840-2372. Another good 1911 man.
