cheap?

I have a couple .22 1911 conversion (AA and Colt) and it strikes me that it would be a lot better to just have a dedicated "lower" for each of them.

Does GSG or those turkish guys or RIA or whoever just sell complete frames?

Fusion Arms and Essex sell frames in the $250 range last time I looked into them.

Personally, I would choose Fusion Arms, but I doubt you'd have any real problems since it will be for a dedicated .22lr.

I'd bet that the Fusion frame is unfinished (no internal parts) Sounds like he wants a COMPLETE lower. Fusion could probably do it, but the springs and trigger and MSH, grip safety, etc. I'd bet that can't be had for the $250.

I agree - I'd just buy a cheap 1911 and put your slide on that

A lower frame isn't that expensive and fitting the trigger and others parts can also be inexpensive and is easy...just build your own lower...
