Anyone tried Prvi Partizan ammo?

I've had good experiences with Privi. They don't make steel case as far as I know. If it's steel and Wolf it's Russian as far as I know.

I picked up 200-rounds of 7.62x51 and was very impressed with the results. Clean, consistently loaded and accurate - something that I hope other former Eastern Bloc ammo manufacturers pick up on.

I've used a bit of it in 7x57R and .303. I think it is actually quite good stuff. The brass in particular seems good quality.

I just shot 200 rounds of Prvi in .38spl. Purchased from Grafs at a great price. Worked like a champ and didn't make my revolver dirtier than any other brands.

I have shot about 400 ronds in 5.56 a mix of m855 and 193.It's good stuff not the best the only problem i had was 1 round light primer strike.

I've shot up quite a few battle packs of their 62gr .223 (blue & white box) and it has been very good stuff. I'm very happy with that particular round.

I would buy Privi in any caliber if I needed ammo. Good stuff for the money and the only alternative for surplus in some of those odd Euro calibers.

i have bought and shot some of their new mfgr stuff in several cals. Underwhelmed is the correct word im looking for.

That's pretty much exactly my experience. Never had a malfunction, but not really accurate in anything I've tried. No consistent performance.

But, sometimes it's cheapest and these days we take what we can get.

I asked the guy at the gunshop if it was Communist ammo, he told me that I had it wrong and that it was for shooting Communists.

It shot alright out of my wife's SP101.

i've been VERY pleased with several thousand rounds of privi m193.
i've heard reports that their m855 sucks, so i haven't tried it much
their "match 308" ammo was reliable, but not even close to accurate for me. i sold it to someone else and it seemed to work fine for them, so who knows?

I bought ten boxes of Prvi 6.5x55 for my M96 and I was quite pleased...gave me some solid groups. Accuracy complaints posted here could hold some water, but I'm not a competitive shooter and have no aspirations of being one so it suits me fine. I'm not gonna pass on cheap ammo because I could have gotten an eighth of an inch smaller groups from the expensive stuff.

.38

Used 50 rounds of the prvi .38 last night at the indoor range - it was the only label I could find in five weeks of searching Greater Boston and southern NH. No problems with accuracy, but it was exceptionally smoky and greasy.

As far as I know Wolf is Russian, except the gold, but if Prvi Partizan proper is cheaper why pay more for the same stuff?

Also, I have shot it in .357, lots of .45, .223, 30'06, & 9mm and found it very good and not any dirtier than anything else (and NOT as dirty as Wolf, Independence, Remi UMC...).

Simply reload for your old milsurps, more conveniant and better accuracy. Don,t have to worry about the "search" for a good ammo deal, then just load some up when you feel like using the gun.

I tried some of their 168 grain match ammo in my remington 700 sps .308, not impressed. The best 5 shot group I could achieve is 1.5". I've done .75" with my handload's. Plus, the velocity was weak, 2500 fps.

I have some Prvi Partizan ammo for 6.5x55 and 7.5x55. I have never had any functioning problems, and I think it is as accurate as I am from 100 yards with iron sights. The brass has lasted for 3 loads so far in the 7.5x55. I haven't shot it much yet though.

I bought 120 rounds of the 7.62x54 to shoot and reload in my M39,fired 40, was excellent and very accurate.

I bought a box of 8 mm in SP from AImsurplus 6 yrs ago . I shot it in my K 98 Yugo and it grouped pretty good. The recoil is also stout.

i just spent a day out with their .308 match ammo and got a 1.2" group at 200 yards. thats just me, a 700 and a swivel bipod. i approve for half the price of the other match guys.

Prvi-Partizan is good reliable ammo and Wolf Gold is produced at the same facility. I have used Prvi in 6.5x55 and 7.62x54R.
Good brass for reloading.

Privi Partizan is a great value in ammo for the money and is solid, non-corrosive commercial ammo.

I have used Privi .303 Brit and 7.62x54 Russian. It shoots well and the cases are great for reloading.

I have used .222, .270 and .303. I buy it when I need brass. The brass works great for me and the ammo has shown some been very accurate for me. I wouldn't worry if it was all I had to hunt with. And I liked the .222 well enough I bought a bunch of the bullets.
