I'm curious if anyone has tried Prvi Partizan round nose 7.62x39 in an SKS or AK. If so what are your thoughts on them? I saw a few boxes while out and about today and picked them up because they were brass and I can reload them. I'm curious if anyone has had feeding issues or any experience with them good or bad. Thanks in advance for your input guys/girls!

Mods, sorry if I put this in the wrong area, I wasn't sure if it should be in General or in Rifle.

Not what you're asking exactly, but they won't work in my AR w/ M4 feed ramps....

They worked pretty well in a Norinco SKS that I had. Point of impact was 4-5" higher at a 100 yards than the Herter's and Wolf ammo that I put through it. No feeding problems in the 20 rounds of PRVI that I used.

They fed fine through my 16" Saiga sporter. 5 shot avg of 2,323 fps. That huge lead tip mushrooms nicely when fired into jugs of water.

Thanks for the info guys. I get nervous trying new ammo. It sucks when you get all set up to shoot and you have nothing but feed problems because you decided to try something new!

I paid $12/box for mine. Midway has them on sale and in stock for $9.99
