Anyone up for a MD shoot some Sunday in August

Yeah, I know it is short notice, but even if only 3 or 4 guys decide to go for it, why not?

I'm guessing that a short-notice, summer shoot, probably will have between 2 and 10 of us. So, an indoor pistol range should work (and with a lack of planning time it would probably work best). August also means, indoors=AC=good.

So, anyone interested in maybe hitting Continental Arms in Timonium or On Target in Severn some Sunday afternoon in August? Another option may be Gilbert's indoor range in Rockville. Gilbert's is a really nice modern range that also allows rifles, but due to Montgomery County ordinances you have to take a safety class at Giilbert's, buy a membership (monthly memberships that require you to pay range time are $30) and you have to buy your ammo there so I'm thinking Gilbert's probably is a no go.

If you guys don't mind the drive, why not come out to The Cove near Winchester VA? Oudoor 'junkyard' range at the top of a mountain...shoot anything you want, bring anything to shoot at. $5 during the week per person, $12 weekends, includes camping and 4 good sized fishing lakes plus ATV trails.

I can't really make it out to VA, but I'd be happy to meet some folks at On Target some weekend. I have a membership, so it's all good. I'm always looking for people to shoot with.

That's the one. You'll need to bring something with ground clearance...it's a semi-4wd trail to the top. A pickup works fine.

I am not sure if my car can make that "last mile". I would definitely participate if I could get to the range with my trusty car

Just what I have been looking for, and I will be with my family in Massanutten in a couple of weeks. I only hope that I can slip away for a couple of hours.

Seriously, On Target would be a good place for a bunch of us to meet up sometime. I have a membership, so it'd be no problem for me to have someone on a lane with me rather than have 'em pay the extra to rent one for themselves.

Finding people to shoot with around here is tough. I'm always down with going shooting should anyone ever want to drop me a PM.

Right on. Like I said, definetly let me know, and I'll be glad to come out. Just renewed my membership, and got a bunch of ammo in the mail.

It's always fun to go shooting, but moreso if you're not among total strangers.
