I have been using Berrys plated but found a good deal on Extreme 124 FP and 147 RN 9mm anyone use these ? Wondering how they compare to Berrys.

I use them for plinking loads exclusively. I live in Reno and pick them up at the factory. Nice people to deal with and their products are very consistent. I don't think you can beat them for the price.

Been using them through several incarnations over the last 20 years.

Thick plating, drivable to near jacketed velocities, consistent results.

Been using their 30 carbine, 9mm, 357, and 44 bullets over that time period.

X-treme seem to have a bit thicker plating than Berry's.
But I've used both in 38, 357, 9mm & 45acp.

I haven't noticed any difference in reloading or shootin' 'em.

I use X-treme's 165gr RNFB .40 bullets, and love them. They have a thicker plating than Berry's and are much cheaper. I'm actually about to order some more, I get them for $50/500 shipped.

I like them a lot. TJConeveras usually has a good price if you buy a minimum 1K. I was low on one of my favorite 9MM bullets (X-Treme 124 Gr HP) and just ordered 2K from him trying to beat the usual first of the year price increases. I love the X-Treme 158 Gr .38 Cal SWC as well.

Thanks for the input. I really like the look of these bullets. The plating seems to be much smoother than the berrys and look more like FMJ than plated. I just saw a small sample but assume they all look this way. I'm not dissapointed with the berrys but can I can get these for a few bucks cheaper and to me they look like better quality. I noticed they say these are .356 diameter, are they really .356 or is it like berrys that say .356 on the box but actually measure .355.

I've been using x-treme for a long time.
I load them at max velocity & they stay together & I find them very accurate.
Their prices are better than other platters.

are they really .356
I measure the diameter and average length of bullets and record them with the data. I just checked and I recorded the X-Treme 124 Gr HP and 124 Gr RN at .355.

great company, good products

awesome in 40s&w
not so good in 44mag, plating comes off in cone sometimes (at least for me)
still trying to make them work in 45acp (they're soft and they dent, instead of bouncing off feed ramp, possiby causing three point jams)

do you get a discount if you pick'm up in reno?

I forgot to mention, I get mine from FreedomMunitions. They have the same price X-Treme lists on their website for bullets, plus free shipping. I've found TJConevera's has prices that are $10-15 higher on some items, but $2-3 less on some others, and I'm not sure if you still have to pay shipping or not.

One better part about X-Treme is some of their bullets have cannalures which make die adjustment easier and crimping safer.
I have Berry's and X-Treme bullets in flat point .357/38 158 grains and they are almost identical. Berrys bullet bases are more round, however, and that might make them easier to get started in the case.

Like others have said, "You can't go wrong with them". I've been using them for a few years and found the plating to be much more consistent than Berry's. Plus side they are also cheaper. Been using 230gr. .45 RN and 180 gr. .40 and like them alot.

Just received my restock of 9,40 and 45. The mail man really hates me when I do it all at once. Now I go out to his truck with my son and help him carry the boxes to the house. Love X-treme for range use.
