Have not loaded for the 357 Sig yet and curious if anyone has used any of the following bullets for this round. I have seen .355" as the recommended bullet diameter but they were jacketed HP's and not plated. Any help appreciated.

Ranier 125 GR FP (356.5")
Remington 124 GR HP (.354")
Berry's 115 gr. RN (.355")
Ranier 124 gr. TCJ/RN (.355)

Thanks!

I use the Remington 124 GR HP in my 357 sig but most of the time I shoot the 115 Rem JHP. I have shot over 10,000 of the 115 Rem JHP's and they work great.

Just use your calipers and see how straight the shank of the bullet is. If it is straight at the point where you crimp the bullet in the case it will be fine.

I had very poor luck with Berry's but that was a while back.

Whatever bullet you pick needs a long shank. Something that has a lot of full diameter body, like this Berrys. I do not know if it can take the velocity/pressure of .357 Sig, but it gives you an idea of the bullet style needed.

I know this Sierra bullet or this Hornady bullet will work.

I believe your first two choices are the best. I'm not aware of any RN profile bullet that will work in this caliber. My favorite is the Montana Gold bullet made for 357sig! The Berry's 124gr HP bullets will work, but I'd avoid the RN bullets.

The Rainier 125 FP and the Remngton 124 JHP will work, I've loaded many of them.
