Anyone Use This Forend On a Saiga .308?

I use one on my S12.
It is pretty solid & has taken a beating... I'm not easy on some of my firearms.
I tend to shoot the crap out of my S12, and it gets pretty hot, but the SGM stays fairly cool.
A decent tri-rail option, I'd recommend them.

They're good, a little heavy. I take a drill press and a 3/8 bit and do a little lightening. Looks cool and gets the weight back down. You can also do a series of holes (not all the way through) in the interior bottom of the unit where the bottom rail and hand portion are so thick. You can remove a lot of material there without sacrificing any practical strength. There is aluminum molded in the front area where the saiga pins ride under and also a stud molded in where the screw goes

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm just going to go with the Tapco one because I like how I can put a foregrip a little closer to the magazine. Just for kicks does anyone have pictures of a Saiga with the Tapco forend?

Mine didn't fit the .308 as received. The front of the forend had about an eigth-inch (or less) of slop in it...up and down. The little pins that stick out of the sides of the gas block were not engaging the grooves in the front of the forend. Probably because the .308 gas block is a little fatter than what's on the smaller Saigas and the forend wasn't lining up properly.

Looked like a little Dremel work would've corrected the matter, but I decided to put the forend on my .223 Saiga. I've got one on a 7.762x39 Saiga and really like it. It went on without a glitch.

Really?? I might just go with the SGM Tactical one then...
