I have no experience with it, My range bags are wallers or 5.11's but they are 5 times the price, at that price the only thing close I have is a Cabela's small gear bag, I got for a car gear bag and its held up fine keeping the car odds and ends secured for a long time, Cabelas has it on sale over thankgiving for about 20 bucks too. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...k=Products&Ntx=matchall&N=48+4294967281&nyr=1

Looks ok, priced right too. The problem with range bags is they are soon too small for all the stuff. If you get one that all the range stuff will fit into you won't be able to lift it. You got 3 guns I would get 3 range bags.

I'm no expert on range bags, but that one sounds pretty small to be fitting all the stuff you want to fit into it.

I bought this bag from Midway:http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=259680&t=11082005

I bought it after hearing about it here, and it suits me fine. I don't know how the quality compares to other range bags, but it should hold all the stuff you mention. I regulary carry a G19, staple gun (with extra staples), 4 mags (although it could hold many many more), muffs, holster, 1-100 rnd bx of Winchester white box, up to 500 reloads (in a ziploc baggy), targets, sight tool for AK, various amounts of empty brass (brought back 10 lbs once), ball cap, roll of masking tape. Fact is that I could probably carry at leas one more gun, and probably more stuff, but then I don't know how well it would bear the weight over time.

It also comes with to pistol bags (not sure what you call them, and has what might be described as a "bag inside a bag" that can be removed. It also has a place for a water bottle.

No experience with that one, but to maybe give some perspective, my glock brand range bag is 16"L x 10"W x 11"H, and easily fits 4 pistols, extra mags, 400 rounds of 9mm, eyes and ears, a small tool kit, and paper targets.

+1 dmftoy.....updated model of what i have had for 15+yrs. large & small crafstman tool bags are really good to add in the mix

I think the bag you're looking at seems a bit small for your list of items.

I use an uncle mikes similar to the bag Armabill posted, and it's quickly become too small for all my odds and ends, I've gone to toting a plastic tool box in addition to it for all the "dirty" tools and bits I don't really want roaming around in my range bag with my ears and eyes etc.

+1 on this bag-http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=259680&t=11082005

It's bigger and has a lot more features. The sale price makes it a better deal.

Problem I have with range bags is if they hold all your stuff they are too heavy to pick up :)

I fail to see a reason to spend more than $20-30 for a range bag. Plenty of well made options in that price range. I've a small and large Wolf brand bags I got at a gun show for $15 and $25. The small holds four handguns and their ammo (usually 400-600 rounds) the large holds 4-6 22 pistols and their ammo (800-1500) rounds and has plenty of extra room for a can of spray paint for the steel plates, small tools for minor issue, my eye & ear protection, a towel, and mag loading tools. Its real easy to make this bag too heavy to carry. I usually carry a third bag to hold the empty brass afterwards to help keep these two reasonably clean.

These cheap bags have been hauling the load weekly for a couple of years now and from the lack of wear they'll probably out live me.

I ordered the Gunmate. After reading the posts, the large Midway bag seems too large. And the Gunmate bag will only see all that stuff on occasion when the wife comes as well. I'll post back when I get it.

I just use a $10 medium sized gym bag from wal-mart (or kmart or such, had it for like 8 years now and dont recall). It has 1 big main pouch that can hold 2 standard size hard pistol cases, and 2 30 cal ammo cans, plus a few misc extras in the main zipper pouch, then has 2 outside zipper puches that can hold eye and ear protection, cleaning stuff, compass, gps, maps, snacks, and whatnot. Also has carry handles and a shoulder strap, (for when I pack too much ammo and it weighs like 50lbs...).No rips/tears/splits anywhere, and can still hold as much weight as I am willing to have to carry in it.
