I like the extended mag better too, though I have read that some prefer the shorter 7 Rd mag.

Can you compare how it shoots to, lets say, a Glock 19?

I've had one of the 9mm versions for some time. I'm very impressed. I find that it probably shoots better mechanically than a G19, though the G19 is somewhat (subjectively) easier to run, due to the size increase.

When I got my Shield, I was a bit concerned about longer range accuracy. I had no issues on 8 inch steel plates at 15y and did a walk back to 40 yards or so before the hit/miss ratio was unacceptable.

They hit it out of the park with the Shield

Agree completely for the 9mm version, I've gotten mixed reports on the 10mm Special.
